Effect of job title change during H1b processing

Question

After I completed my PHD, I have applied H1B under the title Postdoctoral research fellow. Now, my employer is asking to change the title to research associate.
Though the roles of both the jobs are almost similar with slight difference in salary, can I still file status change now before H1b is approved?

It is all in your employer's hands to change the job title and file h1b amendment. You cannot do anything on your own since it is initiated by your employer. Please follow up with you employer for further details.
