My wife is on H4 and she has applied for H1 Visa for the year 2015. As we wait for the results to come, is it ok for her to travel to Canada for a vacation for a week?

It is not advisable to travel outside the country when an application is in process. As your latest I94 determines your latest status. Please consult an Attorney.
