Hi,

I am planning to visit Canada and thinking of getting my H1B restamped there. I am currently on I94 extension. I am on a corp-to-corp project with a vendor between end-client and my employer. Is there any risk involved to go for restamping in such situation? What kind of documents I must take with me? Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I am H1B visa too and every time that I go to Mexico for Holidays have to get stamp again you know whole process  pay  fee , fill out DS-160 ,  get all documents (i-797) probe of employment  on the CAS  ,  but the good thing is that you don't have to go  at the consulate interview  due is the same one.

But you know I have some friends with L1 and stamp expired and they go and back only with the i-797  not sure if we can do the same with H1B  has anyone tried this ?

Cheers
