US re-entry on expired H1-B stamping from Canada (Valid 797)

Can some one please confirm if I can re-enter US from Canada on expired H1-B stamping.
I have valid 797 petition till 2016 but H1-B stamping got expired last year.
I am planning to visit Canada for 1 week.
