Will I be able to apply GC through marriage if my H1b transfer is in progress?

I am working on H1B through company1

Recently I got an offer from company2 and they have started a normal H1B transfer process. 

 

Questions - 

1. will i be able to apply GC while h1b is in process

2.if my h1b transfer gets denied, will my GC through marriage still in process?

Will I be able to stay in US during that period?

You should be able to file GC without issues when you h1b is still in progress.

Besides this, your EAD comes very quickly. SO if your h1b is denied, you can still live and work in US as long as your EAD is valid.
