Will my current H1B be affected by a newly certified LCA?

I have H1B status with Company A. Company B attempted to sponsor me for another H1B. The new LCA was filed but a new H1B was never filed with Company B as they went bankrupt. I ended up staying with Company A since Company B went bankrupt.
Is my old H1B status affected by the new LCA?
Is there somewhere I can check to make sure my current status is alright?

My best advice would be to call an immigration attorney that filed the petition. They will be able to help you with your questions. In general, a second petition filing will not affect the first petition.
