Can h1b holder quit job due to maternity leave

I work on h1b as software engineer. My visa is expiring in July and I have filed an extension with USCIS. I am on FMLA and state fma from March - Jul.
Now, I have an offer from another company and i am yet to rejoin my company from vacation.

Is it legal to quit while I am on leave?
