- I was doing a job in X company(outside USA) and got another job offer from Y company (in USA who doesn’t have a branch domestically in my country) which filled the H1B petition for me.

- Before Y filing the petition in April I had left my job in X company few months back. Then my petition was selected in USCIS lottery.

How much does it matter if one doesn’t have a job in the visa interview as they ask questions regarding current/ongoing job?
