i am working for blue cross insurance company in Louisiana. My H1b visa will be effective from October 1st 2014 and iam planning to visit my home place in India for H1b visa stamping .The problem is the state in which iam born is bifurcated into two states and i don't have that updated in my passport. Do i have to update my passport before attending the visa interview
