Travel outside US on H4 status before knowing H1B lottery pick result

I am on H4 status presently and have applied for H1B 2015 but i need to travel India in april and return back in may.I have been listening lot of stories that i shouldn't  travel during this period.I dint knew lottery result yet.do suggest me .
