I have changed my status from h4 to h1b. I have a valid h4 visa valid until next year.
I need to attend h1b visa interview when I travel to India.

If my case is pending or denied will i be able to travel to US on H4 visa since my passport is not expired?
Or do I need to attend h4 visa interview?

Yes, you should be able to travel back to the US on valid H-4 visa if that visa does not get canceled at the US consulate at the time of the H-1 B visa denial do fraud or whatever other reason.

You will still be admitted back to the US with an unexpired H-4 as long as you can prove that your spouse is in valid H-1B status.
